As the Vice President of SVA’s Visual Arts Student Association, one of my biggest responsibilities was planning and executing the annual VASA Halloween Party with the help of my fellow officers and our staff members.

“All the goblins, ghosts and monsters were there! Once again, it was time to get creative and spooky with a Halloween costume at the annual VASA (Visual Arts Student Association) Halloween Party, held at Dave & Buster’s in Times Square on Thursday, October 27.

The night included arcade games, dancing (with DJs courtesy of WSVA Radio) and a costume contest.

The costume student winners were:

First place: Michael Fernandez (Doc Ock, from Spider-Man), BFA Computer Art, Computer Animation and Visual Effects

Second place: Brigid Slevin (Walter White, from Breaking Bad), BFA Animation

Third place: Emma Guldbjerg (Deadpool), BFA Comics
